The life of the young Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (1809-1847) from his boyhood to his great journey to Italy in 1830 is reflected in letters and other documents. The most beautiful texts have been selected to provide an insight into his life and thoughts. The afternoon will be musically framed with works by the composer.
