Reduced prices for groups of 10 or more people apply.

DresdenPass holders and children under the age of 7 receive free admission. Also max. 2 accompanying adults from children's and school groups. Every Friday from 12:00, admission to the museums of the city of Dresden is free for all guests (except on public holidays).

We offer annual tickets for individual visitors (€30) and families (€40). They are non-transferable and valid for one year from the date of purchase for all museums in the Dresden City Museums network. The tickets can be purchased at all museum ticket offices.

Tickets can be paid for in cash or by EC, VISA or MASTERcard. Payment by invoice is also possible for booked groups.

Vouchers can be purchased in any amount at the cash desk or ordered by e-mail (service@museen-dresden.de). Vouchers can be redeemed at the museum cash desk and in the museum shop. Remaining amounts are retained. All vouchers are valid for 3 years.

The Kügelgenhaus is not barrier-free. 

No, dogs are not allowed in the Kügelgenhaus. 

Backpacks (including city backpacks) are not permitted in the exhibitions. Shoulder bags up to A4 size are permitted.

Photography and filming is permitted free of charge in the exhibitions for private purposes only. Please respect the personal rights of other visitors and the artists' copyright. Photography and filming for commercial purposes must be requested via the Public Relations Department (presse@museen-dresden.de).

No, the consumption of food and drink is not permitted in the exhibition areas. Please use the café and foyer areas for this purpose or ask about other options on site.

The Kügelgenhaus does not have its own museum café. There are numerous catering outlets in the immediate vicinity. 

The Kügelgenhaus offers a selection of publications on Romanticism in Dresden – on literature, the visual arts and protagonists of the era. Postcards and smaller themed souvenirs complete the range.

The rooms in the Kügelgenhaus are not available for hire. We are happy to offer you alternatives in the Kraszewski Museum or the Carl Maria von Weber Museum. For this, please contact our event service on +49 351 488 7372 or by email at joachim.vocke@museen-dresden.de.
